Jordana Spiro as PJ Franklin

With her impeccable comedic timing and sexy girl-next-door appeal, Jordana Spiro knocked-out critics and audiences alike as the ditzy Sherri in Must Love Dogs. The New York Times’ Arts & Leisure section devoted an entire piece to her on the film’s opening weekend, and Peter Travers of Rolling Stone raved that “not since the young Goldie Hawn has an actress put a funnier, feistier spin on dumb.”

Spiro recently filmed the comedy The Goods: The Don Ready Story, with Jeremy Piven, Ed Helms and Rob Riggle. Produced by Will Farrell and Adam Mackay, The Goods is directed by Neal Brennan (Chapelle’s Show) and will be released this fall by Paramount Vantage. Last year, Spiro completed Patrick Sisam’s The Year of Getting to Know Us. The film, which premiered at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival, stars Jimmy Fallon, Lucy Liu, Tom Arnold and Sharon Stone. Spiro’s additional credits include IFC’s Alone with Her, which made its debut at the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival, and guest appearances on Cold Case, Out of Practice and CSI: New York.

Born and raised in Manhattan, Spiro studied at the Circle in the Square Theatre School and briefly attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
